We attempted a second picture since our first round had the elf and Mrs. Claus cut off. Nathan wasn't having it for round number 2.
Boys got to bed really late but it was worth it. Santa also brings a gift for each child. This gift is pre-arranged by Mom. Santa brought Nathan a book and Joshua the movie, "The Polar Express."
This was perfect since Matt was scheduled to work all day. I wanted something to keep us busy at home on our long Saturday.
So, we had a Polar Express Party!
Hot cocoa and milk. Nathan wanted his in a mug just like Joshua. I tried not to have a heart attack. Then, Joshua taught Nathan to clink the mugs together to have a toast. Oh dear....
We enjoyed the Polar Express and then we made a gingerbread train. Nathan helped by eating some of the extra pieces.
After the treats it was time for more entertainment from big brother.
After all this excitement you would think the day was over, right? No, it was 10am!
The rest of the day was spent taking baths, playing outside, making messes, and going to look at more Christmas lights.
Nathan walked to the back of the van and wanted to ride in Roxy's car seat. These boys are best buddies.
When Nathan decides he is done with a cup he throws it. This is the third demolished cup this week. I am going to start accepting donations soon.
Sunday, our amazing chorister brought costumes for all of the kids. They participated through acting and singing as the Christmas story was read from the scriptures. Joshua was happy to be one of the wisemen.
I don't have a picture but it was also Nathan's first Sunday in nursery. He did so well! My baby isn't a baby anymore! Mixed emotions on that development.
