New Hair

Thanks Alyssa for the suggestion to get my hair cut at Avalon Salon.  :-)  Kiah fixed my hair several ways after cutting it.  I hope that I can do it all of the cute ways on my own....

New Identities

Matt and I went to Kim and Heath's annual Halloween party on Friday as punk rockers. We had a great time dressing up and then of course enjoying everyone's company once we got there. I totally forgot to take pictures once I got there.... Oh well.

Pinewood Derby

I'm ready to go to the church Pinewood derby and chili cook off on Saturday night. (Ignore the shoe pile you see in this picture--I don't know what that's all about) Matt is holding the camera taking my picture and of course carrying our dessert and corn bread.

Amelia, Alyssa, and I posing together after an evening of good eating and car racing. :-) It was time for me to go home and run afterwards. It has been a lazy week for me.

Sidenote: I have not been sticking to my healthy regiment the last week and maybe the last 2 weeks....I can't remember. I need daylight savings time to end and pronto...It is SOOOO DARK in the morning. This makes it very hard to get up and run at 5:30 when the sun doesn't even rise until 7:30!!! No fair!! I hope that by making this confession to all of you that I'll be running Monday morning. We will see....

Sweet husband!

So Matt had flowers waiting on me at home 2 weeks ago just because.....

Then on Thursday and Friday of this week Matt had Fall Break which was wo

nderful for me too! We went out to eat on Thursday and then shopping together. This was followed by Matt bringing Chik-Fil-A to school and having lunch with me. My kids all went crazy! The girls were giggling and they all concluded that my husband was "very handsome." Matt was totally embarrassed by all of the nine year old attention. Friday night we sat on the couch together and watched all of the tv shows we missed the last week. I was very happy to have my own "fall break."
