September Wrap-Up

Boys started soccer.  I enjoyed skipping it last year but with Nathan being old enough to play and finding a league closer to our house we decided to give it another try.  Nathan is holding up his injured finger.  He sharpened his finger in a pencil sharpener.  He then cried that your finger will not turn into a pencil if you put it in a pencil sharpener.  He kept the finger separate and pointed upward for almost two weeks.

We love playing games!

We had really nice weather for a week or so in September.  It was like Fall and it was amazing!

Have I said before that we love home school?!

Nathan loves anything that Joshua loves so he is quite a Harry Potter fan also.

Matt has had to work weekends but we were compensated with weekdays off.  We went to Navarre, Florida during the week.  The place was ours and our hotel was cheap.

Beautiful, clear water, white sand, and fun family time

Nathan kept begging to get back in the hot tub.  This kid gets hot so easily so I couldn't understand the appeal for him.

Nathan loves his big brother.

He is a great underwater swimmer!

He's been having some anger issues lately.  Love seems to be the best solution.

Reading nook in the hotel.

These are my crazies and I love them!

We came back and Nani sent us a Halloween box.  The boys were thrilled.  These kids LOVE Halloween.  It is funny since that isn't really a holiday that I ever cared much about so how did they decide to love it?  Well, of course, I add a little more Halloween fun each year since it is such fun for them.
We come in to the "girls' room" often as a place to read and hang out.  Nathan will say in perfect faith that he likes to come in here because we made it beautiful and it will be ready for his baby or babies someday.  Who am I to refuse or refute?

We went on a field trip to security forces with the home school group at the Air Force Base.  The boys loved it!!!! I enjoyed it too especially the part with the police dog.

They spent individual time with each child and really made it a great experience for our group.
