Finishing off the summer
Children's Museum Fun
Lots of swimming. Although Nathan kept jumping in the wrong way and licking the walls of the pool so I told him he had to sit out. All of the wet spots were his different time out spots. This was a fail day at the pool!
More playdates
Had a successful family night with a few families. We were embracing their Columbia heritage. This was my attempt at tres de leche.
My boys being ridiculously cute before we had a family over for game night!
Nani and PopPop went to Utah and they took a little detour on their way back to SC.
Modeling my ear rings from Jessi. These are dried flowers from Stonehenge. Pretty gift from across the pond.
PopPop keeping the boys entertained while we waited to eat.
PopPop left Tuesday very early and Nani stayed to play until Friday evening. Nani is very good at playing! ;-) We went to the movies and the trampoline park. We of course ate at Chick Fil A and got our drinks from the gas station and Target. Nani is the perfect partner in crime. We were all very sad to see her go but Nathan was the saddest. He cried and cried after we dropped her off. He was convinced that we were going to let him fly with Nani to SC.
Meet the teacher night- Joshua excitedly sees his old 'girlfriend' Katie has been placed right beside him and his best friend Caden just a few desks back! Life usually smiles on Jman!
He was ready to go and looking very cute! He has had zero problems adjusting to first grade. Man, last year was tough compared to this one. (knock on wood) His favorite color is either green or black. His favorite food is lime ice cream. His favorite character/movie//book is anything and everything Star Wars. He wants to be an anesthesiologist like Matt or a police officer.
We are on day 4 of first grade. Joshua was all smiles as he left for school and Nathan is happily playing beside me as I do this post. Life is good.
Nathan loves Paw Patrol. He has the best imagination of any kid I've ever met. He has been keeping us laughing with his view on the world lately and his well timed phrases and punch lines. We get the warmest hugs and he always asks earnestly how was work, how was your church meeting, etc. He still loves to sleep!
