We bought our van Thursday and picked up Kira Friday! We took her to get some burgers as she had spent the day traveling and was quite hungry. Nathan was warming up and Joshua was getting reacquainted. Christmas was just too long ago.
One night while she was here we had an indoor camp out. Kira was warming her hands by our fire while using an app that provided the sound effects.
S'mores. We switched to the microwave version but Joshua wanted to put one on a stick like you would do over a fire. We plan to go camping outside when it isn't so hot here so in December...
Joshua loved telling and hearing stories. He had some great ones but this is a short one. I hate that you can't see his face as he has great expressions during his storytelling.
Monday, we went to Sea World. Nathan fell asleep during the last show of the afternoon.
Dolphins are always a treat.
So, our selfie was a little off but it is the only picture I have of us together.
Tuesday, we celebrated Nathan's birthday and wanted to make sure Kira had a nice last day with us as well. We took everyone to eat Mexican food.
Matt teaching Joshua how to talk with chips in your mouth and all sorts of other lessons only a Dad can impart.
No one can resist playing with Nathan especially not his favorite, "Where's Nathan?"
We ended the day with a cupcake and candle. It was all a little shorter because Nathan wasn't feeling great the whole day. Poor guy was sick; we discovered the next day that he had an inner and outer ear infection.
